Massive, massive thanks to the generous people of Banstead and Sutton. This has led to another extremely successful series of Christmas Tours and static collections. Banstead Sutton Nonsuch Rotary is delighted to announce a record collection of over £14,475 for the Christmas Santa Sleigh last month. A big thank you to all the residents who donated so generously! This amazing sum will enable us to support several local charities this year.

“Yet again the generosity of Banstead came to the fore” said President Adore Shuko “Our Rotarians and charity partners would like to say a heartfelt thank you for the support received on the doorstep and at the supermarkets. We have been amazed by the response.”

Thanks go also to the individual volunteers, Club members and our charity partners who helped Rotarians take Santa’s Sleigh around Banstead Village and the neighbouring areas in the three weeks leading up to Christmas.

We also express our gratitude to #Waitrose Banstead, #Asda Burgh Heath and #Tesco Sutton supermarkets for their support and for allowing us to make collections there too.

Our Christmas collections are one of the most important ways we support local and international charities, and once again they proved just how powerful community generosity can be.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone in the public who stopped, donated, smiled, or took a moment to support us. Your kindness and continued encouragement enable us to turn festive goodwill into real, lasting impact for those who need it most.

Thank you for supporting our Christmas collections and for standing with Banstead and Sutton Nonsuch [BSN] Rotary Club year after year.

Many organisations actively encourage their employees to take part in community initiatives like this, recognising the positive impact on wellbeing, teamwork, and personal development. It is also a wonderful opportunity for students, who can participate as part of a community project and clearly demonstrate their contribution and learning.
