Better Your Best, Create Lasting Impact!

Mike shared his priorities for the coming year: “along with the key messages and focus areas.
There are two guiding ambitions:
1. To create lasting impact in our communities
2. To better your best as individuals, Clubs, and as a District
We need to commit to stretch, to grow, and to deliver service that truly matters. He stressed that there is a great deal to look forward to and that he is excited for what we will achieve together! Our President David Martin led the Club’s input with his own priorities for the coming Rotary year. It has been a quiet July and August. The Village Fair was very well organised and was successful, with over 30 stalls - thank you, Roger. Adore was kind enough to show the Mayor around the fair – thank you, Adore.
As mentioned at the Club Assembly – I have some big shoes to fill. Adore managed the coming together of the two clubs; ensuring that we worked as one big team and accepting the substantial changes that have taken place.
My year, I hope, will be remembered for having fun whilst working for our community and enjoying the fellowship of our fellow Rotarians. We will need help if our aspirations are to be achieved; membership will therefore be our highest priority. To recognise this, we have set a challenging target of 'To recruit 4 new members and 5 new corporate
members.

We will cooperate with other clubs; adopt a facilitative/partnership approach to our working with charities and other organisations; whilst at the same time being cognisant of the delicate balance between our club aspirations and the possible adverse impact on our members if we overstretch ourselves.
I know I can rely on your help and support – thank you everyone.
