Rotary donates £2000 to Crossroads Care Surrey!


On Tuesday 18 November we welcomed Christine Jacobs and Emma Wilson from Crossroads Care Surrey.

The charity provides support to carers for their loved ones including visits and care, respite care, befriending, mobility aids and much more fantastic support to ensure a person can remain at home.

Past President Jane Illingworth introduced the charity to our Rotary Club and made them the Presidential charity. Jane said “ thanks to everyone’s hard work we  raised £2000 as a donation during my Presidential year 2024-5!  This charity is committed to offering care and support services, information and advice to unpaid carers, their families and individuals cared for.

Rotary welcomed Louis, an advisor working at the former QEF building known as Banstead Place for Birchgrove.
