What a fantastic start to the Rotary New Year as we all met up at Cuddington Golf Club for our first meeting of the year.

After dinner, long-standing Rotarian Gordon gave a talk, “ My Club Sandwich Career” about his varied and challenging career in the Home Office. He started as a scientist working on the detection and identification of fingerprints. Next he moved into a series of administrative posts. He then returned to scientific work, this time on security technology. Later he returned to administration where he was in charge of all police science and technology. Finally, he returned to his group of security specialists, just in time to respond to the 9/11 attacks!
We are a dynamic, friendly and active group of women and men from north east Surrey focused in the Banstead & Sutton area. We are part of Rotary International, which is the world's largest service organisation for community minded people.
We are keen to want to make a difference and our members come from a range of backgrounds. We aim to be a force for good in the area and seek to develop and involve the community.
Equally we support both national and international projects.
Not least we have a lot of fun.
